- 6 Month Contract
- Daily Rate: $600 -$650 + super
- Location: Parramatta

- The Senior Finance and Reporting Analyst provides financial support to the Authority and its Divisions by providing transaction, budgeting and financial reporting services. The role is also responsible for maintaining strong and effective partnerships with these Divisions to promote the achievement of financial and broader organisational objectives.
- Deliver high level strategic, tactical and operational financial advice and support to the Authority's Divisions to enable and ensure sound financial advice and planning within the Authority.
- Provide expert quality and timely reporting and analysis to the Authority to support decision making and manage risk.
- Prepare, develop and quality assess all of the Authority's Monthly Management Reports, forecasting and budgeting as well as the preparation of all Financial Statements.
- Undertake monthly accruals and journals and provide suggestions for continuous improvement in financial processes and controls.
- Reporting monthly data into Treasury's Financial Management Reporting System (PRIME) and working closely with the Audit Office as the point of contact for queries relating to the Authority.
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in accounting / financial management. ie. CA or CPA qualified.
- Relevant industry experience - at least 3 years' experience
- Extensive skills and experience in financial and management accounting including budgetary preparation/monitoring, forecasting, accruals and journals and financial reporting
- Strong experience in macro driven financial forecasting and modelling
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex data to provide advice to senior management
- Have a strong continuous improvement mindset - identifying opportunities to develop and/or improve existing processes, generating ideas, and implementing solutions
