About the Opportunity
Thomsens Accounting now has an exciting full-time opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their public practice firm in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane.
You'll be working in a small team, with three other accountants and an experienced office manager, to provide professional, public practice taxation and business services to a range of small to medium business clients, from a variety of industries and backgrounds.
Thomsens is looking for someone with a minimum of 4 years recent experience in public practice accounting, and a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or similar. Experience in interviewing clients for Tax Return preparation and familiarity with the keeping of Workpapers to support the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns is essential.
Good communication skills will be crucial in building relationships with clients, allowing you to investigate and understand their needs and to obtain all necessary information to enable completion of assignments undertaken.
Experience using online bookkeeping software like Xero, Quickbooks , MYOB etc. is required to facilitate the preparation of Financial Statements.
