About the role

The Finance Function is a key partner to the Business and is central to strategy setting, facilitating growth and driving efficiencies across the organisation.  As with any fintech company, we operate in a continually evolving, fast-paced environment, with the Finance team at the forefront.  The Finance organisation now comprises over 70 people across 3 locations. 

The Commercial Finance function encompasses financial business partnering, financial planning and analytics (“FP&A”), Corporate Development and Investor Relations. 

The Finance Analyst role is suitable for entry level (graduate) accountants. The role will rotate across the different teams within Commercial Finance as described above. After a successful probation period, we will sponsor you through a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA etc).

As a member of WorldRemit’s Finance team you will aim high, embrace challenge and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s technical direction and long term decision making.

Reporting to the Director, Commercial Finance, you will:

  • Prepare monthly management reporting
  • Analyse and comment on P&L variances against prior year and budget
  • Support forecasting cycle (budget and quarterly re-forecasts)
  • Business partner with budget holders across the organisation
  • Improve efficiency of processes
  • Provide ad hoc support to management decision-making
