Extensive Xero expertise is mandatory for this role.

The ideal candidate will have been the in-house expert on Xero in previous roles that other staff go to resolve Xero issues and for Xero training.

This role incorporates the following roles:-

  • Financial Officer.
  • Assistant Finance Manager.
  • Finance Assistant.
  • Xero specialist expert.
  • Assistant Financial Controller.
  • Management Accountant.
  • Accountant.
  • Accounts Assistant.
Full UK driving licence essential with a number of years driving experience and with own vehicle.

Must live within easy driving distance of our current main office in Isleworth.

We are in high growth mode and are seeking our next perfect colleague to join our busy and bustling modern finance team.

Please note an extremely high level of English speaking and communication skills are a must.

Duties:-

  • Management of sales and purchase ledgers.
  • Maintaining accounts, verifying, and posting transactions.
  • Summarize financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
  • Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed.
  • Preparation of accounts and reports for managers to review.
  • Undertake ad hoc duties as directed/ operationally required.
Skills and experience:-

  • 3 - 4 years' experience in bookkeeping and finance.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Hands on experience with Xero and Excel spreadsheets (You will be required demonstrate your bookkeeping and spreadsheet skills).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and innovative style.
  • The ability to work as part of a team.
Excel skills required:-

  • Functions for data cleaning and manipulation: remove Duplicates, Filter & Sort, Conditional Formatting, Find & Replace and Excel shortcut keys.
  • Data analysis and Interpretation skills: Managing Page Layout, Cell Formatting, Data Sorting, IF Functions, Data Filters, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, Pivot Tables, Cross Reference Tables and Data Sorting.
Xero experience required:-

  • Setting up the system including entering opening balances for customers and suppliers.
  • Ability amend the nominal ledger and create chart accounts reports.
  • Dealing with customer and supplier ledgers including invoices and credit notes.
  • Reconciling bank accounts on a day-to-day basis.
  • Handling payroll including posting the salary journal.
We are looking for a team player who can work well with staff in the finance department and other departments as well as build and maintain excellent repour with customers and suppliers as and when needed.

You should be keen to progress career within the Company.

Must be a Xero expert/wiz (genuine subject matter expert).

Must be a bit of a IT geek / techy and good with IT in general.

Must be a Excel and Microsoft wizard.

We will be conducting the first interview via Teams/Zoom, and likely setting a quick set of competency tests.

40 days paid holiday annually. (28 days + 8 days bank holidays + typically around 4 days discretional for extra days before and after the key bank holidays Christmas and New Years).
