My client, a leading organisation is seeking a Senior FP&A Cost Accountant to join the team. This position can be mostly remote in the UK.

Description
The key responsibilities of this role will be:
- Simplification of overhead accounting, apportionment and reporting.
- Able to map existing processes and to-be processes - identifying optimal to-be process
- Working with colleagues and other teams to implement solutions whilst maintaining and ensuring that any solution can be easily applied to any structure.
- Excellent understanding of Project accounting
- Transparency and simplification of overhead/ cost accounting and project accounting
- Think big picture whilst heavily into detail
Profile
- Professional accounting qualification
- Experience in practice/ industry, experience in cost accounting
- Confident, capable and credible with effective communication, influencing and persuasiveness skills dealing with both peers and senior colleagues
- A strong leader
- Team player with positive "can-do" and proactive attitude, solution orientated and goal driven
- Agile and adaptable to change
- Consultative and collaborative in approach
- Confident in challenging existing processes and status quo
- Ability to build lasting relationships with business leaders and managers
- ERP systems experience. Power BI skills would be a plus
