An opportunity has arisen for a knowledgeable Finance Officer to join a well-known client, in the construction industry. This will be an ongoing opportunity, with an immediate start, and a high chance to go permanent for the right person!
The Role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, and sitting within a team of 4, your duties will include:
- Processing of invoices (high volume) and payment of accounts, and processing credit applications.
- Reconciliation of supplier statements, AR ledgers and monitoring of credit limits.
- Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations, general ledger coding and invoice matching.
- Assist clients over the telephone or by email in relation to any queries, or issues, in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with lodging BAS and PAYG reports.
- Ad hoc duties as required.
Your Profile
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Have 3-5 years' experience in a similar role, and a good understanding of end-to-end accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Have strong ERP knowledge, ideally with SAP, but this is not essential.
- Have demonstrated ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment. And be able to adhere to strict deadlines.
- Have exceptional organisational skills, be able to build strong relationships with clients and internal staff.
