Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

In this fixed term senior role you will support the Divisional CFO - T & O and Support Units to lead and mentor the team to achieve outstanding results. Key responsibilities will include:
  • Delivery of accurate management reporting on the performance of the Technology & Operations financials against plan/forecasts
  • Generation of accurate short term (monthly) and long term (12-18 month) financial forecasts for the Technology & Operations business units
  • Working with members of the Business unit leadership teams to provide specific insights and assistance in achieving the financial goals of their individual teams, including education on financial principles
  • Challenging stakeholders when needed on the performance and management of their business units
  • Leading financial projects and research as required
  • Leading and motivating team members through role modelling 'Business Excellence' behaviours; including: coaching/ mentoring, performance management, training/developing staff
  • Continually looking to review and improve procedures as part of the continual improvement of the Finance Partnering function


Ō Pūkenga | About You

Ideally you will have a background in a bank or a financial institution. You will be highly driven, enthusiastic and a passionate finance professional who is service focused and can deliver results. To be successful in this role, you must satisfy the following criteria:
  • At least 7+ years working experience, with preferably some experience in a bank or financial institution
  • Ideally degree qualified in finance or accounting
  • A financial qualification such as CA, CPA or CIMA is preferred, although not essential
