Advisory Director, Financial Due Diligence, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Chicago, IL. Advise clients in executing acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and structured investments. Provide financial and accounting diligence analysis for client transactions. Review sale and purchase agreements. Analyze clients target operations to understand historical results. Ensure integrity of financial information, quality of earnings and assets, cash flows, human resource and benefit concerns, tax exposures, and potential risk management issues. Manage a wide range of accounting and advisory related projects. Establish and maintain client relationships and professional networks.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field, plus 6 years of related work experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, the employer will accept 2 additional years of related work experience.
Certification(s) required: US Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or its foreign equivalent.
Must have at least one year of experience with each of the following:
- Providing core assurance or auditing services, or transaction-related advice to clients;
- Executing deals based on technical standards, industry knowledge, and audit best practices; and
- Defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collection.
Travel up to 80% is required.
