My client is a large well known NZ entity which owns substantial assets. Split into two arms - the goal of this arm is to grow the asset base and increase distributable returns to the owners. The entity has broader social responsibilities and directly have an impact on our communities. The organization is centrally based and is dynamic in nature. Due to changes in the business they require a contract resource for the next 3-6 months to cover the Senior Business Analyst position.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Business Analyst will also be partnering with operations managers across the portfolio.

The purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis and feasibility studies on multiple projects and property development opportunities within the entity as well as own the budgeting & forecasting process.

Duties

• Financial Modeling
• Scenario analysis and feasibility studies for the projects
• Budget and forecast management
• Forecast and reforecast on projects for development managers
• Cashflow management/forecasting
• Visualization and BI reporting

Skills & Experience

• Intermediate to advance excel skills
• Proven modelling capability and strong commercial acumen
• Budget and forecasting experience in a complex environment
• Business partnering and stakeholder management
