About the Role:
We are looking for a Management Accountant who has what it takes to make an impact at our award winning pizza production sites in Nottingham. We produce a mind boggling 1 million pizzas per week for leading retailers including Marks & Spencer and Asda.
As the Management Accountant you will ensure reporting of accurate financial information in line with key deadlines to drive the business's overall management and strategy.
You will be required to manage completion of weekly and monthly accounts on an accurate and timely basis in accordance with accounting policies and legislation. You will deliver financial management information to support the strategic business plan and enable managers to take accountability for their cost base. You will produce and submit reports for Central Finance for consolidation and lead the monthly reforecasting and annual budget process. You will also be required to report on weekly internal KPI's as well as lead internal and external financial audits, including close out of all audit points. You will also provide training and support across the wider business to further develop understanding of Finance.
About you:
• Formal financial accountancy qualification or part qualification
• Strong experience in a Financial role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience of advising and supporting internal customers.
• Commercial mind-set.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong analytical skills.
