Based on the CBD fringes, our client is a well-established not for profit organisation with national operations and is seeking a Payroll Officer to join their cohesive and friendly team.
About the role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and joining a friendly team, the duties and responsibilities of the role include;
To be successful for this role you will be a skilled Payroll Officer. Prior experience in a complex, multisite and high-volume environment would be well regarded. You will pride yourself on your stakeholder engagement and ability to communicate at all levels. Ideally you will have previous experience with a large Payroll system and intermediate Excel skills.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager and joining a friendly team, the duties and responsibilities of the role include;
- Hands on processing of a high-volume payroll
- Setting up new starters, calculating leave entitlements, superannuation, workcover, PAYG and termination
- Award and EA interpretation
- Reconciliations
- Customer service for payroll queries
- Ad hoc projects as required
