Description
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with analysing and consolidating the spend from different departments and identifying trends to manage expenses and purchase orders
- Creating budget templates alongside the finance team
- Analysing Sales Revenue and project costing when required
- Preparing month-end journals and reconciliations when required
- Ad-hoc variance analysis and investigation as required (Actuals vs. Budget / Forecasts)
- Assisting with month-end completion: this includes month end journals, Balance Sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, forecasts and commentary
- Partnering with Operational departments (Engineering, Supply Chain & Logistics, Operations) and reviewing invoices & expense reimbursements
- Other ad hoc projects
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be immediately available to work
- Be CPA/CA qualified and have the relevant tertiary qualifications
- Great communication skills
- Have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced MS Excel skills (VLookups, Pivot tables)
- Previous experience in the manufacturing sector
