The Company

Our client has a big goal and are working hard to achieve it! To do this they need your enthusiasm and expertise for Accounting to manage the Accounting requirements. You will be working with a close-knit team who support each other and roll their sleeves up to complete tasks when needed. This is a highly varied role with a steady pace and will challenge you as you develop your skillset and implement efficient processes and procedures.

The Role

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable processing
• Accounts Receivable processing - including collections
• Reconciliations including Bank, General Ledger, Balance Sheet
• Cashflow management and forecasting
• BAS/PAYG reporting and reconciliations
• Support with Budget preparation and EOM Reporting
• Variance analysis and reporting on trends
• Ensuring compliance with Statutory Law/Regulations/Accounting Standards
• Bank Up Payroll when required
• General Administration as required (ie customer queries)
• Supporting with Contract Administration including contract negotiations, variations, reconciliations
• Any other ad hoc duties as required.

About You

You are a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and an enthusiastic work ethic. You will be happy working autonomously and liaising with multiple stakeholders internally and externally. You will have intermediate-advanced Excel skills to improve their processes and reporting. Your creative flair allows you to offer innovative suggestions to improve business processes and you relish the opportunity of learning and development whilst growing with the company.
