We're looking for talented graduates or junior experts interested in development and professional growth to join our Maritime department as a Project Controller in the Business Support Unit. You'll be a part of a cross-border team of highly qualified colleagues who operate from our offices in Gdynia, Poland and Høvik, Norway to support the team in contract handling, invoicing, and project reporting within the Maritime Approval organisation. You'll contribute to the team's work with valuable financial knowledge and experience to achieve correct profit and loss on our projects, through ensuring that costing and revenue are recognized correctly.

Key Tasks

As a part of our team you will be involved in our main deliveries and responsibilities, such as:
  • Contract handling both with internal and external customers
  • Registering, updating, and maintaining projects and orders in Oracle Finance
  • Invoicing and interacting with clients regarding invoice questions and/or concerns
  • Participating in period end closing, ensuring correct revenue accruals on unbilled orders and projects
  • Together with the Business Controllers, Project Managers and Technical Sections managing and coordinating the project portfolio in Oracle Finance


We are looking for a colleague who can bring in the following qualities:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Logistics or similar field or equivalent qualification
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience - fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
  • Fluent command of English in writing and in speech
  • Team player, but also ability to work independently and cooperate with remote colleagues in an international environment
  • Accurate, organized and with attention to details
  • Ability to solve complex issues
  • Curious and investigative mindset
  • Flexible, service-minded and with a positive attitude - as issues and tasks may change quickly
  • Ability to proactively look for and identify improvement solutions
