The Analytics & Insights team is a centre of expertise that delivers best practice data science, data engineering, insights and reporting to BNZ. We work with colleagues across BNZ to manage data, create actionable insights and drive value from data and analytics.

Te Kaiurungi | About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Insights Analyst to join our team. In this role responsible for enabling bold decision making through providing the best information to the Remediation stakeholders. Resulting insights will be developed to support Product migration strategy in switching customer to the right Product that is optimal to them.

The Insights Analyst is responsible for partnering with the Remediation stakeholders to support their data requirements with a focus on delivering quality data and insight to support their customer remediation initiatives whilst maintaining a positive collaboration with the stakeholders and the wider Analytic & Insights team.

We have two fixed term opportunities available; one for 2.5 years and the other for 1 year.

Ō Pūkenga | About You

You will bring with you 3-5 years hands on experience. Alongside this you will also have:
  • Good track record of engaging with all levels of the business, reporting findings and challenging the status quo
  • Good experience of providing insight on business performance leading to positive change
  • Must be proficient in a visual analytics tool
  • Highly proficient in SQL
  • Experience with SAS would be highly beneficial
