Management Accountant 3 month FTC

Management Accountant 3 month FTC based near Romford Essex paying up to £40k

Your new company is an established facilities management company based near Romford


Your new role will be reporting to the Financial Controller and will be initially for 3 months with a possibility of it being offered permanent for the right candidate.

Duties to include

• Preparation of Management Accounts on a periodic basis
• Preparation of Departmental Reporting periodically
• Assist with detailed variance analysis and commentary of periodic results
• Process periodic journals including accruals and prepayments and all general/nominal journals
• Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers
• Responding to ad hoc queries as they arise
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of the balance sheet reporting for periodic review
• Assist with Project analysis
• Assist with the implementation of new systems including procurement and budgeting system
• Assist with Ad hoc analysis
• Assist with the preparation of company budgets and forecasts including departmental input
• Assist with preparation for the statutory audit and other statutory reporting including VAT; tax etc
• Continuous review of processes and procedures and systems for efficiencies and to ensure fit for purpose

What you'll need to succeed is be immediately available to interview and start. Able to commit for 3 months. Experience of all the above duties plus previous experience of working alongside non finance stakeholders throughout the business. Part qualified ACCA / CIMA is also desired
