Senior Content and Social Engagement Manager - £65,000 + 10% bonus - City of London, Consultancy

A leading global Consultancy based in the City of London are currently recruiting for a new Global Senior Content and Social Engagement Manager to join the team.

Your new role
In collaboration with the wider regional marketing teams, you will manage the global ideation, creation and distribution of first class, industry-leading, top of funnel content, with a focus on innovative, digital-first and multi-media content. You will also be overseeing the strategic direction, planning and optimisation of the businesses global social media channels and community management strategy.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinate the Global Editorial Board process, working with local teams to agree and deliver quarterly global B2B and B2C content themes and deliverables
• Ownership and optimisation of the content calendar, ensuring appropriate global and local use Manage the creation, delivery and distribution of global content including video, blogs, podcasts, infographics, whitepapers and live events, including the translation of these assets
• Support the development, optimisation and integration of our global publishing platform
• Direct the monthly global events programme and podcast series', working with the Global Content & Social Media team to identify themes, secure guests/panellists, coordinate and promote the event
• Work with the Global Data and regional marketing teams to establish a best-in-class content and social measurement/metrics framework with the objective of demonstrating ROI at each stage of the customer journey In collaboration with an external agency and internal teams, support and oversee our paid social and amplification strategy
• Proactively lead the identification of global content partners, publishers, collaborators and influencers, with overall responsibility for managing those relationships and ensuring long-term engagement Work with our Chief Executive Officer and other members of the c-suite to optimise their social media activity, whilst amplifying their voice and presence via engaging content
• Direct the rollout of a new enterprise social media management tool globally and locally, and direct and oversee the use of other social and content tools globally and locally
• Day-to-day management of external copywriting, content, creative, translations and podcasting agencies Overall management and accountability of Group Content & Social Media budget
• Management and ownership of the Global Social Media Policy and all associated back office and operational guidelines, collaborating with legal, training and HR teams where necessary
• Day-to-day management of two direct reports, and in-direct supervision of regional social media and content colleagues, ensuring they are engaged, high-performing, continually developing their skills, collaborating and sharing best practices What you'll need to succeed
• Experience in leading and delivering the global content and social strategy

• Strong experience in managing the creation, delivery and distribution of global content including video, blogs, podcast etc
• Passion for social and content
• Paid social media experience
• Proven copywriting and editing skills across a variety of platforms and mediums
• Proficiency in google analytics, You Tube analytics, Facebook insights
• Experience working in a matrix organisation with the ability to build strong productive relationships with regional marketing and operations sales reams
• Experience in people management
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
