Exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our Share Services Team at Regency Park South Australia!

You will be responsible for managing all activities in the accounts payable function such as ensuring payments to international and local vendors, and expenses paid in a timely manner. You will need to maintain records and control reports accurately.

This for an inspirational leader that is passionate in mentoring, coaching, and driving the team to success. Our environment is very fast paced with high volume work of up to 40,000 invoices per month but a very supportive one.

As our Accounts Payable Manager, you will be reporting to the Shared Services Manager with a team of 12 Accounts Payable Officers and Admin team members reporting to you.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage the CAAPS automated accounts payable system 40,000 invoices per month with international and local invoices.
• Develop and maintain Policies and procedures.
• Manage the Accounts Payable team, including the allocation of work within the team.
• Oversee the daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.
• Manage contact points for vendors in the case of disputes or disagreements regarding payments.
• Monitor procedures and provide insight, recommendations, and implementation of possible improvements within the Group.

Who are you?

• Demonstrated experience working as an Accounts Payable Manager leading a team is essential.
• Accounting background is a bonus!
• Computer literate: Advanced level using Excel, with experience using Proton, CAAPS and/or Peoplesoft is an advantage.
• Confident problem solver with a calm under pressure nature.
• Strong communicator - personable, credible and recognised influencer to others.
• Ability to conceptualise and identify opportunities for process improvement.
