Company based in Weltevredenpark is looking for an experienced Debtors Clerk.

Salary basic R12 000.00 + Commission

REQUIREMENTS

Must have previous debtors experience & Excel and Evolution experience

Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Self motivated, organised and responsible(Stable work history)

Computer literate (Excel a must)

Minimum Of 5-7 Years Experience Doing Debtors

Must be punctual and have strong administration skills

Manage support staff

DAILY

• Capture previous day's cashbook receipts.
• Ensure that allocations of deposits and credit notes are accurate on customer accounts, using Customer Remittances.
• Update Excel Age-Analysis with receipts
• Phoning customers for Collection of outstanding accounts and updating of excel age-analysis with respective comments.
• Attending to customer queries until resolved
• Preparing Acknowledgement of Debts for Customers
• Ensuring that Accounts with payment plans in place adhere to the terms.

WEEKLY

• Export new age-analysis to excel and copy formatting/comments from the previous week's age.

MONTHLY

• Put all customers in 30 days and Over on Hold on
• Export new age-analysis on the 1st day
• Sending customers month-end statements

ONGOING

• Ensure Customer Master Files are maintained, and that the below information is always accurate:
• Company Names are as per registration documents.
• Registration Numbers reflect
• VAT Numbers reflect
• Accounts Contact Names & Telephone Numbers are accurate.
• Physical and Postal Addresses are correct.
• Credit Limits are Inserted.
• Correct Credit Terms are set, i.e., Current for COD Accounts, 30 Days and 60 Days for those which are not COD.
