As Workzone continues to grow through diversifying its portfolio of services and expanding its reach, Workzone is now seeking a Finance Officer to join their growing team.

Role Overview

The Finance Officer is a newly created role and responsible for providing financial and administrative support to the finance and management teams in the day to day transactional activities including accounts receivable/payable, payroll, banking, bookkeeping and a range of other administrative tasks.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role with a sound understanding of general accounting;
• High level of competency with computer programs including Xero and Microsoft Office as well as other integrated solution systems;
• Excellent attention to detail, organisational and time management skills;
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with a range of internal and external stakeholders including clients and suppliers.

The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications in accounting and/or bookkeeping with strong payroll and accounts receivable/payable experience, as well as the ability to innovate and improve systems and processes. Workzone is seeking a confident, proactive and committed team player with strong problem solving skills, who can work well under pressure and collaborate with other team members to achieve the best outcome for the business and clients.
