The Position

Due to growth, an opportunity is now available for an experienced Intermediate or Senior Accountant to join a leading accounting firm. This company is looking for multiple accountants at these levels.
You will be working with small to large clients across multiple industries, to provide accounting services including Business Advice, Services and Tax. This is a client facing role where you will take over a portfolio with a mix of recurring and newly developed accounts.

On offer in an entirely negotiable package based on experience, however, will range anywhere from $70,000 to $100,000 + super.

The key areas of focus will include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements & Tax Returns for a range of clients across various sectors - Sole Traders, Partnerships, Trusts, Companies, Groups, SMSF's
• Liaising with & providing accurately & timely advice to clients on a range of business matters
• Providing technical advice on various tax issues including division 7A and capital gains tax
• Providing strategies to clients in relation to budgeting, tax planning & cash flow planning
• Small to Large client base - grow your knowledge

The Candidate

The ideal candidate for this position will have at least 3+ years of Au public practice accounting experience, with a keen willingness to learn and be motivated to develop their career within the business. Having completed CA or CPA, or currently studying will be highly regarded.

• Minimum 3+ years' experience working within Au public practice
• Relevant degree qualifications
• CA or CPA qualifications, or currently studying
• Experience utilising a variety of accounting software programs
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-presented
