ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the Commercial Manager as part of the broader Commercial team in a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for Commercial analysis, including solution design, price modelling, forensic analysis and reporting, to meet the needs of the Business and our Customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partnering with Account Management Team
  • Understanding Customers' operations and logistics models
  • Providing situation analysis and insights
  • Identify continuous improvement initiatives
  • Improving supply chain efficiencies and lowering distribution costs
  • Analyse complex business problems and provide analytical support and recommendations
  • Provide support on RFP opportunities and more complex pricing requests
  • Assist with the preparation of business proposals, focussed on winning new Customer or retaining existing contracts
  • Assist with the development of pricing methodology
  • Ability to identify data gap, rectifying and resolving data issues
  • Ability to manipulate and work with multiple data sources
  • Provide visibility and develop reports
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Extensive knowledge of the Freight Industry
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels
  • Strong experience in cultivating a sale's pipeline
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business/Transport and Logistics or marketing is highly desirable
