BIG4 Senior Auditor - Canberra

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a professional environment with one of the Big 4 firms in Canberra in a close knit friendly team with a fast growing client base.
The role involves carrying out the usual external audit tasks such as: controls testing, documenting procedures, systems and test results, interim audit and year-end audit as well as supervising junior staff and having significant client interaction.
Take charge of managing the full audit process whilst mentoring and assisting junior members of the Audit team. The diverse, challenging and interesting client portfolio will highlight your ability to build new client relationships in addition to fostering existing ones.
Skills & Experience:
You will be a confident Intermediate or Senior Auditor with a minimum of 2 years' experience in Public Practice in Australia who is seeking a challenging role in a dynamic and progressive firm.
About you:
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience doing external audit in a reputable firm in Australia.
• CA/CPA Qualified or on the way to being qualified
• Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards
• Significant client interaction & experience dealing with SME's
• Excellent English Communication Skills
• Ability to work independently and carry out the full audit cycle
