Work directly with the clients on a complex portfolio from start to finish at a highly progressive and innovative CBD Mid-Tier practice.
With your strong tax and interpersonal skills, you will work directly with the clients on a complex portfolio from start to finish with the support of technical training and mentoring at a highly progressive and innovative Mid-Tier practice.

Reporting Partners lead work/life balance ethos by example. You will receive dedicated one on one review time with the Partner on technical and soft skills.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements and tax returns per all current, legal, and accounting reporting standards.
  • Providing tax advice, interacting with clients, and liaising with the ATO/ASIC regularly.
  • Maintaining and building strong relationships with clients, ensure high-level service and client satisfaction - working on all kinds of client entities: individuals, companies, partnerships, trusts, complex family groups.
  • Prepare documents for client meetings with managers and Partners
  • Helping to identify, research, and resolve all complex accounting issues.
  • Assisting junior employees with work and act as a mentor/buddy.
Skills and experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in tax and business advisory in public practice
  • Strong technical skills including experience with Div7A issues, FBT, PSI, CGT, Companies, Trusts, and Partnerships
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and analytical thinking skills
  • Exceptional research skills, including being able to prepare written advice to clients
  • Experience in cloud-based software
  • Exposure to building client relationships
  • CA or CPA qualifications (or are close to completing)
  • Have a strong work ethic and enjoy working hard as part of a great team.
