Ideally on the path to becoming a qualified Chartered Accountant or Certified Practicing Accountant and have hands on work experience in a similar, fast paced top 100 Accounting firm.

The right candidate for the position of Intermediate Accountant should demonstrate high standards and a strong client focus to complete the following responsibilities:

• Preparation of BAS, financial statements and tax returns for clients
• Assist with the business advisory services for clients
• Responsibility for a portfolio of fees
• Identify issues for managers and partners to review
• Develop relationships with contacts and participate in business development activities
• Handling of routine client enquiries without assistance
• Prioritise tasks, manage workflow and meet deadlines

For the position of Intermediate Accountant the candidate requires the following skills:

• Relevant Accounting degree or equivalent
• PQ Chartered Accountant or CPA
• Minimum 1-3 years business services experience
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
• Passion to grow and mature in the industry, demonstrating a professional attitude
• Strong team player and adaptability to pick up new tasks, systems and processes
