More about the role and you
With substantial growth since inception in 2011 and clients that include some of the world's most recognised brands, Bigtincan has created a new role for a talented Revenue Accountant to join the team, supporting and enabling the growth of the business, reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager.

You'll be adaptable, proactive and flexible to get involved in areas that are sometimes outside of the norm'. An excellent communicator, self-starter and team member who is happy to work with autonomy and do what it takes to meet key business objectives. You're also detailed and process-oriented, ensuring financial and operational controls are followed. If you've ASX experience, that's a bonus, but not necessary.

Some key responsibilities:

• Manage the client invoicing process by ensuring invoices are raised and issued on a timely and accurate basis, in compliance with company revenue recognition policies and contract terms
• Work with our various sales, legal and operations teams to ensure clients are invoiced in line with their specific contract terms and legal requirements
• Monitor new and renewing sales contracts for expansion, contraction and new products to ensure records are accurately maintained
• Process credit notes and customer refunds on occasion
• Complete vendor setup request forms and onboarding, as required
• Monitor and calculate the sales team commissions on a monthly basis and assist with the quarterly MBO and monthly SQL incentive payments for our marketing staff
• Understanding of GST and various international indirect taxes including VAT, Sales Tax and withholding taxes, a plus but not necessary
• Assist with system implementation, updating and testing where required

What we're looking for:

• Experience processing billings and invoices and calculating commissions for sales staff
• Ability to deal with internal and external stakeholders to ensure contractual terms are adhered to and reflected accurately on invoices and internal systems
• Able to resolve discrepancies independently and under pressure
• Ideally 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a SAAS/ technology business/contracts environment
• Knowledge of Netsuite, Salesforce, Celigo, Stripe and a plus
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Willing to work outside normal hours to accommodate overseas operations
• CA/CPA Qualified a plus but not required
