ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The Corporate Finance Internship will be 12 months and will be based in our Chiswick office in London. You will not only gain practical experience within the Finance team, but you will also have opportunities to understand how the business operates. You will be working within a diverse team and so we are looking for a good team player, who has good communication skills and is adaptable

Reports to: Corporate Finance Manager

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

Geographic Scope: UK&I

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Gather financial data and ledgers
  • Consolidate and analyse financial statements and results
  • Working closely with Global Business Services team in the area of Planning & Reporting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Intercompany and Master Data
  • Ensure all monthly BAU tasks relating to planning & reporting are completed on time and to a high quality.
  • Supporting with Month End procedures: consolidation of accruals, posting journals, recharges, ensuring all the adjustments are done, etc.
  • Ad-hoc finance support to other functions, ad-hoc requests
  • Managing intercompany transactions and recharges
  • Support Corporate Finance in different projects
  • Supporting procure to pay process, vendor management, open invoices and service receipts follow up with purchase requisitioners

CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?

  • Are you curious about the dynamic of corporate finance?

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Basic knowledge of Financial and Accounting processes
  • Strong Excel skills (LOOKUPs, SUMIFs, Pivot tables). General confidence in working with numbers and multiple large spreadsheets.
  • Strong PowerPoint skills (especially charts)
  • Strong Analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills (working with multiple stakeholders across functions and levels)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance/Business/Economics/Accounting

BENEFICIAL

  • Experience in Power BI
  • Experience in SAP/BPC
