We also build teams that will be responsible for handling international funds and supporting internal financial processes of the TMF Group.

 

Job Purpose

This position will be part of a dynamic Accounting Team that will manage a complex portfolio of clients and will constantly develop working relationships with existing clients, prospects and external advisers. Team Leader will manage and lead a team of employees, communicate company goals, motivate team members and assess performance, provide help to management, including hiring and training, and will keep management updated on team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily work coordination of processes in scope, for example (but not limited to) day-to-day vendor invoice processing, the monthly close process, ensuring the reliability and integrity of financial information, including the review of journal entry preparation and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the team
  • Actively contribute to a process improvement culture
  • Support strong controls environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and internal and external audit requirements.
  • Build strong relationship with key stakeholders in the respective business area
  • Close cooperate with Accounting Manager
  • Support the career development of each team member
  • Define and execute the learning path for direct reports
  • Track knowledge gap and assess refreshing process trainings
  • Ensure the process training for the new team members as per the official learning path
  • Facilitate communication with TMF local offices to provide input to local jurisdiction specific activities
  • Support, follow-up and escalation of identified issues
  • Responsible for monitoring and take proper action regarding KPIs
  • Conduct training sessions as agreed

Key Requirements:

  • Team Leadership experience
  • Strong communication, motivational skills
  • Accounting degree / qualification (university degree in F&A, ACCA or equivalent will be advantage)
  • Experience in a multi-country, multiple legal entity environment
  • Experience in BPO/SSC/Centralized delivery model
  • Experience in general ledger accounting/Record-to-Report area
  • Practical knowledge of accounting standards, GAAPs, corporate accounting practices (IFRS knowledge will be an asset)
  • Microsoft Office literacy; working with Microsoft Dynamix or other ERP / F&A systems will be advantage.
  • Good English language skills (written and spoken)
  • Proactiveness and engaged attitude
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn new skills and to perform range of activities ranging from bookkeeping to advanced corporate reporting.
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment, positive mindset in responding to challenges
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to details
