Assistant Accountant

Your new company
One of the UK's most highly capitalised Green Energy Startups are looking for an ambitious, switched on and commercially minded Assistant Accountant to join their finance team. Situated in stunning offices in the West-End, this company are planning on doubling in size over the next 12 months, therefore this is a fantastic time to join this hugely exciting growing business.

Your new role
Reporting into the Financial Controller and sitting in a finance team of 10, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the companies finances by performing the following key duties:

• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Calculating fixed asset depreciation
• Posting journals (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets)
• Bank reconciliations
• Accounts payable
• Accounts receivable
• Ad hoc finance duties

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be a graduate from a top university, ideally red-brick, with outstanding grades in both their degree and A-Levels. Please do not apply to this role is you have achieved less than a 2:1 at university and BBB at A-Level as this role is not suitable for you.

On top of having outstanding academics, the successful applicant will be a confident communicator who with strong written and verbal communication skills who will thrive in a role where you liaise with senior people across the business.
