Finance Analyst - FP&A - Ammanford area
Your new company
Based in the Ammanford area a new exclusive role with a market leading manufacturer. A very well established business, who are a key part of a larger international group. You will be working with a close knit, friendly team of 6 in finance locally. Hybrid working with flexibility in your working pattern on offer from the start.
Your new role
The FP&A Analyst will have a dual reporting structure. This role will report to the local Financial Controller and indirectly to the Product Line FP&A Managers. There will be a balance between local and global product group requirements when it comes to analysis and reporting. You will support and provide insight into the Financial Planning and Analysis process for product line reporting - and be responsible for the accurate completion of monthly, annual and long-term forecasting to ensure cost-effective operations within the guidelines set by group. You will complete analysis of current data and provide recommendations for improvements. As well as assisting in the completion of relevant Business Plans and auditing the effectiveness of actual performance. You will work closely with the Regional Costing teams to ensure proper and effective financial methodologies. Of course you will often be called upon to present relevant data & summaries to functional areas throughout the organisation to help explain results, changes, and impacts on potential scenarios.
What you'll need to succeed
To be a talented qualified accountant - or a very strong QBE Accountant or Finalist. Plus:
· 5+ years of financial planning and analysis experience (within a manufacturing environment preferred)
· Ability to work in global teams, excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Solid understanding of FP&A and costing methodologies
· Experience with Sales & Operations Planning and budgeting/forecasting processes
· Computer literacy, specifically Microsoft Excel (SQL a plus)
· Proficiency in ERP systems, familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred
· Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail and process
