You will oversee all aspects of the production of the quarterly management accounts and the development of the control framework. You will partner with internal and external auditors and lead on the preparation of the annual report and accounts.

Description

  • Lead all aspects of the production of the quarterly management accounts
  • Liaise with UK and overseas tax authorities on direct and indirect taxation
  • Assist with the development and management of the control framework
  • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Assist executives in execution of the investment strategy
  • Attend Audit and Finance Committee and Investment Executive meetings
  • Partner with custodian and retail banks
  • Promote communication between colleagues for the benefit of information flow and to curb any problems that arise

Profile

We are looking for a fully qualified accountant who has proven experience as a Finance Manager supporting treasury and pensions or in a relevant role. You will have a background in pensions, with ideally, experience of an in-house pension scheme or of auditing pension schemes; and leading a team. Using your analytical skills, you will be able to interpret data and evaluate performance. With excellent communication skills, you will build relationships with custodians and retail banks.

  • This role is remote for the forseeable with a future expectation of 2-3 days office based presence.
