This is a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic finance team supporting our 500+ Retail stores and our Online business. Located within our Leicestershire Head Office, our team is responsible for delivering finance support to key stakeholders across the business for a variety of purposes including cash flow management, MI, monitoring and assessing performance statistics and trends,  through to daily and weekly payment reconciliations and delivering project testing and reporting for business critical projects.

About the Role

You will:

  • Maintain cash controls through reconciliation, ensuring any differences are investigated and resolved
  • Monitor and assess performance statistics and trends to identify and highlight problem areas
  • Provide detailed data analysis in relation to payments and other relevant business areas including working on new customer focussed initiatives
  • Be responsible for cost control through analysis of P&L charges including FX differences
  • Be the driver of continuous reporting improvements ensuring efficiency and accuracy are maximised
  • Ensure swift resolutions of priority issues affecting business performance with ongoing monitoring
  • Support business critical projects through formal testing and sign off processes for new systems developments and post implementation analysis

Criteria

About You:

  • Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • You will have at least 2 years experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise your work and work successful to multiple deadlines
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and challenging environment with changing priorities
  • You can demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude to learn and deliver
  • You have the ability to think on your feet and problem solve
  • Great communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships influence and constructively challenge
  • Experience of SQL Management Studio desirable
