RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide accounting and clerical support to the SSC Finance Accounting team including but not limited to the following:
  • Perform data entry associated with accounts payable
  • Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies
  • Prepare payment listing for invoices due for payment
  • Address and respond to inquiries from vendor / internal departments / inter-companies
  • Perform monthly reconciliations
  • Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as and when assigned by superior

  • REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Entry level or above 1 year of accounting experience at a professional level, including journal entries, account reconciliation and reporting.
  • Good attitude toward learning new skills
  • Good customer service mind set
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadline and SLA requirements
  • Ability to work in a standardized environment with occasional variables
  • Able to support low complexity tasks and assist on small sized project initiatives
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people at all organizational levels
  • Simple analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to understand simple business and financial issues
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Ms Excel, Salesforce and NetSuite an advantage but training is provided
