What we ask

  • Primarily responsible for the daily execution of Accounts Payable accounting processes in line with corporate guidelines, internal procedures and the departmental goals.
  • Ensures the team's capabilities by setting quality standards that apply across teams.
  • Responsible for first level resolution of internal and external AP queries handled via email and phone calls.
  • Responsible for analysis and reporting of AP ageing items.
  • Responsible for analysis and reporting of Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt (GR/IR).
  • Responsible for health checks of query handling and AP sub-ledger accounts Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Actively adopt "Lean on the Work Floor" concept.
  • To ensure team's operational processes and procedures are in full compliance with Internal Control Framework (ICF) Controls.
  • Stakeholder engagement - Actively participate and contribute in the Source to Pay (StP) Meeting.

    Vacancy description

  • Actively contribute to the strategy and implementation for the Accounts Payable processes.
  • Regularly manage employee's performance through continuous dialogue with the team.
  • Identify the right training program to suit own team needs.
  • Develop succession plan to ensure sustainability of the team's operation including build-up expertise and talent.
  • Lead regular dialogue and discussion with business partners to identify needs, process improvement opportunities and potential centralization of local processes in FSSC.
  • Build a solid back up structure.
  • Challenge the status-quo and identify efficient and effective ways in performing tasks.
  • To ensure team's operational processes and procedures are in full compliance with Internal Control Framework (ICF) Controls.
