Executive recruitment company Monroe Consulting Group Malaysia's Consumer Health Division is recruiting on behalf of a leading global medical device manufacturer that is currently having a great business expansion.

Our highly respected client is currently seeking a professional individual as the Project Accountant. The job is based in Perak, Malaysia.

Job responsibilities：

Plan, study and collect data to determine cost of project and savings activity such as overhead cost, M cost, direct labour and indirect labour costs. Possess experience in BOM, Routing and standard cost set-up.

Analyse data obtained and record results.

Analyse actual project costs and savings prepares periodic comparing to forecast and budget.

Compile cost information to be used in budget and forecast preparation, year-end and tax package reporting and preparation of government reports.

Makes estimates on future project cost.

Provides management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting the project.

Ensure the implementation and maintenance, within the department, of an effective management for occupational safety and health consistent with the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 and other legislative requirements.

Ensure Program conforms to the Quality System Regulation (QSR), CMDCAS, MDD 93/42/EEC, MDR, ISO 13485 and other relevant Standards.

Job requirements:

Minimum 5 year working experience.

Strong analytical background in budgeting and forecasting.

Prior working experience in the Finance Department of a large manufacturing would be an added advantage.

Ability to develop ad hoc reports as requested.

QADS/JDE and Hyperion Financial Management strongly preferred.

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
