Business Accountant (Fixed Assets & Cash) - (10 month FTC)

Hays are currently working in partnership with a Fortune 500 company in order to recruit an Business Accountant (Fixed Assets & Cash) on a 10 month Fixed Term Contract.

This is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires a good understanding of the Record to Report function, including month end reporting, balance sheet efficiency and ideally knowledge of SOx.

You will own the processes and responsibility of the general ledger accounts and reconciliations for the Fixed Assets and Cash areas of the balance sheet. Reporting directly to the R2R Senior Manager, you will lead a team of 4 Assistant Accounts and be responsible for managing and motivating them to ensure the highest of standards.

In order to succeed in this role you will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA) with previous knowledge of Fixed Assets, Leasing (IFRS16), R2R and Cash being advantageous. Previous management experience is essential.
