The Financial Services Lead Advisory team combines deep industry knowledge and transaction experience to advise on all aspects of corporate finance M&A and, through the Portfolio Advisory Group, credit related transactions.
Our coverage model extends right across the global financial services landscape including banking and alternative lending, asset and wealth management, trust and fiduciary services, insurance, fintech, and all other businesses within the financial services ecosystem.

About the Role
We're recruiting for a Senior Manager to join our Financial Services Lead Advisory team. You'll be working with a highly motivated team of specialist corporate financiers to support our clients from deal origination to execution.
As a Senior Manager you'll be working across the broad Financial Services sector on the execution of buy side and sell side transactions. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day management of transactions including being responsible for delivery of information memoranda, management presentations, valuation analysis and taking responsibility for preparation of information and client communications
Additional responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Day-to-day management of transactions which includes responsibility for primary contact for clients on a day-to-day basis on transactions
Valuation work including financial modelling such as DCF analysis
Coaching and mentoring of junior team members
Participation in client presentations and meetings
Financial modelling and analysis of transactions
Preparation and co-ordination of project deliverables
Project managing transactions and liaising with multiple parties
Business development activities including identification and targeting of potential opportunities, and developing a strong personal network of contacts.
Essential Skills and Experience
Excellent numeracy skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to absorb and analyse large amounts of data quickly
Ideally some experience in an M&A lead advisory role with expertise in managing deals
Ability to undertake detailed financial / commercial analysis for inclusion in client reports
Strong written skills with demonstrable experience of producing high quality, tailored documents
Demonstrable interest and experience in the broad financial services sector
Client focus, with the ability to work quickly and establish effective working relationships
Ability to work with a range of clients from entrepreneurs to funds to corporates
Logical and methodical approach to problem solving
The self-confidence/appetite to be involved in business development activities
Ability to develop, coach and motivate junior members of the team
