Logistics distribution and supply chain company with locations nationwide and a Logistics Administrator required in their Dunstable site to deliver high quality, comprehensive administration and communications support to the customer, the warehouse operatives and site manager
Description
Logistics Administrator duties and responsibilities;
- Key customer liaison and day to day contact for any queries, both via email and phone
- Managing customer orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
- Stock investigation through warehouse management system (WMS)
- Creation and management of customer POs, picks and stock management within the WMS
- Manage each customer query through to close
- Day to day issue solving and reporting
- Warehouse error tracking through issue log
- Stationery and consumables stock management & ordering
- KPI reporting
Profile
- Previous administrative experience is essential with that experience ideally being in a role focused warehouse management, logistics or stock
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages e.g. Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Previous experience with WMS systems preferred/Adaptable IT skills
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes to meet the demands placed on MC by our customers
- Strong communicator and customer service skills
- Calm under pressure
- Innovative, forward thinking, able to think 'outside the box' and generate new opportunities for
improvement - A team player
- Quick learner - ability to learn new IT systems
- Strong organisational skills
