My client are a well-established manufacturing business. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join the team based in Uckfield.

Description

As an Assistant Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Production of the monthly management accounts
• Assisting in the year and half year end procedures
• Assisting in the annual budgeting process
• Involvement in other areas including rebates, bank payments, VAT returns and Fixed Asset processing.
• Assisting in the quarterly forecasting process
• Production and analysis of logistical and cost models
• Ad hoc projects as required by the business

Profile

To be successful in your application for Assistant Accountant, you should have/be:

• Significant experience working in a Finance role
• Currently studying a Finance qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA)
• Excellent communication skills
• Very competent user of all Microsoft Office, especially Excel
