We are looking for a suitable candidate to fill in the position of Accounts Assistant to be based in our office in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Responsibilities:
  • To handle all accounts-related administration matters, such as:Preparation of Purchase Orders (P.O.), Delivery Orders (D.O.), Sales Invoices;Matching of P.O. and suppliers' D.O. or job sheets with purchase invoices;
  • To handle Accounts Payable matters including:Checking of purchase invoices;Preparation of payments to suppliers, including issuance of cheques, preparation of payment vouchers and filling-in of all banking forms; Making payments of utility bills, purchase invoices and monthly commitments;
  • To handle Accounts Receivable matters including bank-in of cheques and issuance of official receipts.
  • To handle petty cash payments and receipts.
  • To keep stocks movement records.
  • To update accounting system based on all accounting source documents and prepare monthly debtor's statements, suppliers reconciliation statements and bank reconciliation statements.
  • To prepare management financial results to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
  • To prepare cash flow forecast to the Board of Directors on a monthly basis.
  • To liaise with suppliers, customers, bank officers and auditors.
  • To ensure all accounting documents are properly kept, labelled and indexed.
  • To complete ad-hoc tasks or any other related aspects of work that may be assigned by the Management.

  • Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, in Accountancy or equivalent.
  • At least 1 Year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Aware of Accounting Standards, familiar with Management Financial Reporting, Companies Act 2016 and Tax Laws.
  • Possess good knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures.
  • Advance level in MS Excel and good knowledge of accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and confidentiality, highly organized and work well under pressure.
