Our client is a global paint and coatings manufacturer. Their production facilities in Malaysia are located in the vicinity of Batu 5, Jalan Kapar, Klang. Currently they are seeking to recruit AR/Credit Accountant to join their team in Klang.
The job
As AR Accountant, you will be responsible to manage the implementation and administration of credit and collection programs within guidelines.
Manage daily operations to establish customs accounts, credit risks and collection activities.
Handling high risk or sensitive accounts and questions, determine credit risk, and coordinate activities with external agencies.
Manage and analyze financial statements in order to determine proper credit credit undertaking.
Responsible to coordinate credit and collection activities. Your responsibilities will include recommending credit and collection approaches ,working with other business units and managing daily operations.
The person
The ideal candidate for this senior role will have a good understanding of Accounts Receivable, Credit control and general accounting. To be considered for this role, you will have to meet the following criteria:
-Malaysian, male or female.
-Possess minimum a Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or Business Administration.
-Minimum 3-5 years experience in accounts receivable/credit control functions and role with the responsibility for maintaining a debtor ledger.
-Cash experience in credit and collection role.
-Working experience in Oracle is preferred or equivalent experience.
-Work experience within manufacturing industry will be highly desirable and advantageous.
-Good communication skills and exceptional customer service skills.
-Proficient in English is a must plus conversant in BM and Chinese/Mandarin.
