Your new company
Our client is a well-established, manufacturing business that are one of the largest, profitable, producers in their specialist field. Originally family owned it is now part of a US business with multiple subsidiaries. Highly strategic they are keen to grow and are currently investing a great deal financially in the business.

Your new role
Due to the implementation of a new system, the business has chosen to appoint a new position to both control the costings of the business and to provide added value. In this role you would be required to work out how much it costs to supply products and services to their customers as well as aiding their programme of continuous cost reduction.

What you'll need to succeed
The right person for this position will have a good commercial head and be able to identify opportunities in the market place where cost savings can be made. You will be fully CIMA/ACCA qualified with a proven, recent background in cost accounting, with excellent analytical skills. Personal qualities required include: a positive 'can do' attitude, collaborative nature and a tenacious approach. You will also have the ability to work well in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
