Expatriate Tax Graduate

Work From Home - Graduate - Expatriate Tax - Some Previous Tax Experience in as Accountancy Practice Required

Our client is a boutique firm with a family feel. They were established in 2004 and have grown organically. In regards to clients, they have a very respectable portfolio of expatriates, all of which have chosen their services by recommendation.

As a flexible employer, they have made the decision to allow all staff to work from home permanently, meaning that you can be based anywhere in the UK.

The role:

• Will be preparing tax returns
• Contact with both clients and HMRC
• Will receive training
• Graduate with a year experience ideally

• Helping to manage a portfolio that consists of globally mobile expatriate clients
• Participating in arrival and departure meetings for new arrivals to the UK
• Setting up HMRC registrations and making sure correct tax codes are assigned
• Assisting in Section 9a audits
• Becoming the first port of contact for incoming queries
• Preparation and review of UK tax calculations and returns
• Assisting junior members of staff where required
• Tracking work and managing WIP
• Contacting international tax advisors, and other international service providers
• Getting involved in ad hoc advisory work

About you:

• UK Personal Tax experience
• International tax experience would be ideal - specifically within Global Mobility
• A high attention to detail
• Excellent organisational skills
• Personable and friendly manner
• Being able to work to work under stress and to filing deadlines
• A commitment to expatriate tax as a chosen career
