I am looking for a ambitious, enthusiastic and forward thinking Assistant Accountant to join this progressive organisation in their Neath headquarters

You will essentially be managing the accounts receivable function and in addition to the run of the mill Sales Ledger duties such as invoicing and credit control (although these will fall to you as well!), you will be providing essential support to the management accountant in your provision of MI and financial reports!

A reconciliation expert with superb attention to detail and a thorough understanding of the receivables process, you will also be responsible for UK & overseas VAT returns, aged debtor reporting and analysis, sales reporting and analysis, various accruals and intercompany recharges and month end journalling.

This is a superb opportunity for a QBE Assistant Accountant or an ACCA/AAT Studier and for the later, there will be support to complete your qualification! You will need to be numerate, IT savvy (strong excel skills with experience of intermediate functions such as V-lookups and Pivot tables) and have a real sense of commercialism and initiative.

You will be working with an international portfolio of valued clients and so your customer service skills will have to be exceptional...... going above and beyond!
