Your new company
Your new job as Finance Manager at Arrow coincides with an exciting time for the business. Private equity backed, they have the ambition to double the business by 2023 through organic growth and by acquisition. Based in Godalming, Surrey you will take on a key role reporting to the Financial Controller.

Your new role
As an important member of the finance team, you will be taking on a job that is going to grow and develop as Arrow expands. You will lead a small team of finance professionals, taking ownership for goal setting, weekly 1-2-1's, coaching and development. You'll also play a very hands on role in Managing the month end close process, including balance sheet reviews, variances to actual and budget, cash forecasting as well as liaising with teams across the business in delivery of "insightful" Management packs to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also support the delivery of Payroll and Tax submissions and support both interim and full year audit requirements. As a business which is continually evolving, you will also support and help drive continuous improvement to deliver best in class financial control.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to your professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA), strong technical accounting ability, particularly with delivery of month end, stakeholder reporting and audit, you should be a proven relationship builder, challenger and able to lead a small team; an excellent communicator at all levels combined with a continuous eye on process improvement and proven in implementing robust controls. Strong system skills particularly Excel and Sage would be highly advantageous.
