About the Manager, Internal Audit (Insurance) Role:
As the Internal Audit Manager reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be tasked with assisting the head in supervising/leading the audit team, planning and developing annual audit plans, reviewing and improving audit work flow and also training the audit team.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct preliminary surveys on units, departments and branches to familiarise with the system of internal control, procedures and guidelines while also developing audit programmes/reviews and amending existing audit programmes as part of audit pre-planning based on risk approach

Conduct operational audits based on audit plans and also analyse the audit findings to identify the reasons for non-compliance and the weakness of internal controls for the department, branches and subsidiaries

Draft audit reports and recommend action plans/constructive solutions on audit findings, and also attend and assist the Head of Internal Audit in conducting audit entrance and exit meetings

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong analytical skills while also being able to handle multiple projects/assignments.

Key Requirements:

Degree in finance/accounting or any relevant discipline

Minimum of six years of relevant experience in the insurance industry

Proficient in principles and practices of accounting and audit standards, methodologies and regulatory requirements
