Role Summary:


The Finance Director will play a lead role in financial management across the Group. The role will absolutely require an in-depth and detailed knowledge of statutory accounting, group accounts, tax and other various, but more importantly it will lead on ensuring that strong, best-in-class business support is available to all entities.

Internal Departments they will interact with:


Finance departments across all regions, sales, field operations, HR, legal, etc.

Main

Responsibilities:

To support the Regional Finance Director in all aspects of finance for UK/US/Ireland entities

More specific tasks but not limited to are:

o Month- quarterly and year end accounting closure process

o Preparation of annual accounts for all the entities

o tax requirements (VAT, Intrastat, CIT, etc)

o manage contact with auditor, tax advisors etc

o Oversee all audit and internal control operations

o Interpret complex financial transactions

o Ad hoc project work for Regional Finance Director

o Ensuring legal and regulatory documentation is filed, and monitoring internal controls and compliance with laws and regulations

Ideal Candidate Profile:


• ACCA Qualified


• Knowledge of IFRS


• Familiarity with US GAAP


• Experience of Telecoms desirable


• Oracle experience an advantage


• Professional communication skills both written and verbal


• Experience of working in a medium to large corporate environment

Essential Criteria:



• ACCA Qualified


• Knowledge of IFRS


• at least 5 in the role


• Advanced Excel knowledge

Desirable Criteria:



• Experience in multinational environments


• 5 years' experience in multinational environment or Big Four
