Finance Senior Manager for an International Investment Management company - up to £65,000 DOE

Your new company
Global investment management business provides services including mutual funds, pension management and fund platforms to private and institutional investors require Wealth Relationship managers to join their expanding investment service team.


Your new role
The role is to act as financial controller for the client's UK Life Insurance business reporting to management as well as financial, board and regulatory reporting.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing monthly financial results for the UK Life Company
• Production of statutory report & accounts and regulatory financial returns for the Life Company
• Maintaining and implementing the Life Company's capital management
• Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the transfer pricing agreements with other group companies
• Liaison with the Company's auditors to drive improvements in the audit process
• Overseeing the monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
• Oversight of the Company's bank accounts and liquidity requirements

What you'll need to succeed

• Qualified accountant with relevant post-qualification experience in the life insurance industry
• Highly motivated with ambition to make a significant contribution to building the business
• Strong financial reporting knowledge and awareness of current accounting issues
• Ability to balance attention to detail, to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
• Solvency II understanding
