Description

As Assistant Management Accountant, this role will be a mix of management and financial accounts as well as business partnering with operations. Day to day responsibilities include:

• Preparing of monthly management accounts for inclusion into the consolidated reporting pack and individual branch performance packs
• Providing insightful analysis and commentary on results and performance
• Assisting in the preparation of budgets
• Preparing and commentary on KPIs and business performance drivers
• Building strong relationships with department heads, as well as operational teams
• Supporting the senior management team with new acquisitions including financial planning and feasibility analysis

Profile

The successful applicant must have the following skills and experience:

• CIMA/ACCA studier
• Experience in a management accounts environment
• Strong communication skills and able to build relationships with all levels across the business
• Strong analytical skills and reporting on Excel
• Able to work to deadlines, but outside of month, able to make the role their own and look to add value through process improvement
