New opportunity recruiting for an experienced merchandiser background from within a similar busy supplier/supply chain environment.

Merchandiser - The Job Role


Works closely with Senior Merchandiser on all daily Merchandising duties.
Directly responsible for chasing up & finalizing PO, Production sampling and maintaining up to date CPs (factory & Customer) along with general administrative data required for order management.
Work with local HUB office / Senior Merchandiser to maintain on time delivery of confirmed stock ensuring that any deviation to live order delivery is clearly highlighted and reported.
Review customer PO reports/systems and ensuring all customers order details /systems are accurate and match agreed confirmations.
Co-ordinate the submissions of all critical paths from local offices for weekly critical path meetings closely monitoring CP together with factory, working proactively to find solutions to ensure minimum impact to the business in terms of cost.
Finalizing packaging requirements (UPC / Kimball / Artworks) and pack orders together with customers and hubs.
Follow up and update all invoices checking for accuracy on details and requesting amendments when required prior to customer billing.
Assisting in the preparation for customer meetings and together with Senior Merchandiser ensure all details are up to date on customer CPs.
Keeping internal teams updated on any issues and proactively working to pre-empt any PO issues so all shipments can be delivered on time.
Proactively contribute to problem solving and tackling special areas internally with the team.
To assist the Sales Manager / Senior Merchandiser providing general administrative support as required.

Merchandiser - The Person Specification


Minimum of 2 years' experience within a similar supplier, Supply Chain merchandising environment
Proficient user of Excel & Microsoft Office.
Previous experience of PLM, SharePoint & SAP software would be an advantage.
Strong analytical and organisational skills
Excellent communication & organization skills and ability to work within cross functional and offshore teams.
High level of accuracy with attention to detail and work to tight deadlines where required
Ability to prioritise workload and multi-task across projects and tasks
Ability to take ownership and resolve issues, prioritising where necessary
Proven problem solving skills
Flexibility - ability to adapt to constantly changing environment
Ability to pick new things up quickly
Enthusiastic Team Player - ability to interact at all levels and to multi-task in a demanding environment
